Aer Lingus increase flights between Glasgow Airport and Donegal

Glasgow Airport has received a further boost as Aer Lingus launch increased flights between Glasgow and Donegal.

The airline has launched an additional forth weekly flight between Scotland’s largest city and Donegal with flights now operating every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The new and enhanced flight schedule provides more choice and greater flexibility for both business and leisure travellers while increasing capacity for additional passengers. The increase in capacity is in response to strong and growing customer demand for the route with 11,829 passengers travelling between Glasgow and Donegal in 2016.

Flights between Glasgow and Donegal and hugely popular with Glasgow’s large Irish population as well as tourists using the service to visit Glasgow and other major tourist draws in Western Scotland including Argyll & Bute, Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park and many of the country’s top whisky distilleries and golf courses.

The route is equally popular with Scottish based travellers.
