Glasgow Airport is preparing for its busiest ever summer as 14 airlines plan to expand their presence at Scotland's gateway airport.
Already Scotland's gateway to the world and the nation's fastest growing airport, Glasgow Airport has enjoyed huge success in recent times establishing itself as one of Europe's fastest growing airports with 50 months of consecutive growth, and this success is set to continue throughout 2017 with 14 airlines including Air Transat, Delta Air Lines, Jet2, Ryanair, Thomas Cook and Virgin Atlantic all increasing their presence at the airport.
A number of airlines are increasing the number of weekly flights they operate on existing routes.
This includes Aer Lingus which is increasing the number of flights it offers to both Donegal and Dublin while Romanian airline Blue Air, has increased the number of flights it offers to Bucharest with the addition of a new third weekly flight.
