Emirates to increase flight connections between Glasgow Airport and Brisbane

Scottish travellers have received a further boost as Emirates reveal plans to increase flight connections between Glasgow Airport and Brisbane, Australia.

From 01 December 017 the airline will add a new third daily flight between its Dubai hub and Brisbane, offering Scottish travellers more convenience and improved connectivity.

Emirates flight EK26 departs Glasgow Airport daily at 20:50, arriving into Dubai at 08:05 the following morning, with the onward flight departing Dubai at 10:25, arriving into Brisbane at 06:40 the following morning.

Passengers returning from Brisbane have the choice of two daily flights to Glasgow.

The first departs Brisbane at 20:45, arriving into Dubai at 05:20 the following morning, with the onward flight departing Dubai at 07:20, arriving into Glasgow at 11:30.

The second daily service departs Brisbane at 22:25, arriving into Dubai at 07:00 the following morning, with the onward flight departing Dubai at 14:50, arriving into Glasgow at 19:00.

With a total journey time of just 23 hours and 50 minutes, Emirates offer Scotland's shortest journey to Brisbane.

Passengers connecting in Dubai with Emirates benefit from checking-in at Glasgow Airport with their bags being checked through to their final destination and when checking-in at Glasgow, passengers will receive boarding passes for their flight to Dubai and those for the onward connecting flight to Brisbane, giving passengers a seamless and hassle-free connection.
