Air Transat to increase winter flights between Glasgow and Toronto

Air Transat has announced plans to increase the number of flights it operates between Glasgow and Toronto during the winter.

From 02 November 2017 Air Transat will offer two weekly flights between Scotland's largest city and Toronto with flights operating every Monday and Thursday.

The new and enhanced flight schedule will provide more choice and greater flexibility for both business and leisure travellers while increasing capacity, enabling more passengers to travel between Glasgow and Toronto.

The increase in capacity is in response to strong and growing customer demand for the route with 123,313 passengers travelling between Glasgow and Toronto in 2016.

Flights between Glasgow and Toronto and hugely popular with Canada's large Scottish population as well as Canadian tourists using the service to visit Glasgow and discover Scotland's cultural capital boasting incredible architecture steeped in history, world-renowned shopping, crowded pubs and clubs and terrific restaurants, and other major tourist draws throughout Western Scotland including Argyll & Bute, Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park and many of the country’s top whisky distilleries and golf courses.

Flights between Glasgow and Toronto are equally popular with Scottish travellers.
